Where do the details come from?
The ten names come from the hadith narrated by ’Abdur-Rahman bin ’Awf in Jami’ at-Tirmidhi (3747). Titles, dates and roles follow the classical biographies of the Companions. Dates are approximate and given in both CE and AH.
